Where Are You Tonight?
"Remember the weight of the world
It’s a sound that we used to buy
On cassette and 45
And now this little girl
She says will we make it at all
4,000 miles is a drive"
The first time I heard this song by Spoon I was on 5th Avenue (Brooklyn) in a used clothing store (Beacon's Closet) buying clothes for a shoot.
"The signal's a cough"
I asked the cashier what was playing. She said, "Gimme Fiction." I said, "Do you have a copy of it?" and she said, "Yep."
"The law enforcement’s impressed you’ve survived to this age"
They're not alone.
"Gimme Fiction" is a masterpiece. Spoon's new album, "Transference" comes out January 19th.
Let's hope it's better than "Ga Ga Ga, etc..."
And they are playing Radio City In March. Why? ($$$)!
I still would have liked to take the cover shot. Which is great, BTW.
Britt?
Werd.
"The signals are crossed but that don’t get me off
I summon you here my love"
If only summoning worked...

You're pretty, JMG.
not as pretty as you...
OH, you actually look happy!!! She is adorable. Seriously.
I thought I'd run our interview again, since it is my fav of all time. Ok, so what if it's only been 6 months and I have no freakin' idea what the heck I'm doing. I still think it rocks.
