Then I Go To Sleep

My friend Lauren started this and I'm gonna finish it. I don't know what came over her Wall Of Voodoo-wise, but fuck it, that's enough for me.

I feel like I'm in a factory, albeit my choice. New York City.

The chord progression of this song sometimes sums up my city, depressing, fluid, always moving.

And beautiful.

Sometimes not so much, but mostly. I hear it often. And loud.

I heard it all day today, which is why Lauren was so spot-on.

Back home. Mustang fenders. Chrome.

Listen.

Carly. From yesterday.

Harmonica and detuned, quickly strummed guitar, that Carly...

...and exceptional lyrics, too.

At least Lauren wasn't calling Bunnyhutch headquarters...

...or maybe she was...
